Emmanuel Igein Airemen graduated from Annunciation Catholic College Irrua (ACC) in 1990. During his time at ACC he was recognized by the principal as one of the two best students during the Junior Secondary School Examination, which was being introduced at that time in the state. He was subsequently appointed as President of Scripture Union and Food prefect.
Upon his graduation from ACC Irrua, he proceeded to Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma in 1992 to study Mechanical Engineering. He was active in student affairs and was a member of the Rotaract club in campus.
Upon his graduation from Mechanical Engineering in the 1997/1998 school year, he proceeded to Port Harcourt in 1999 for his national youth service scheme where he was exposed to the Oil and Gas Industry working for an indigenous company and he later joined Schlumberger in 2001. Subsequently he completed a Masters degree in Engineering Management (MEM) at the University of Port Harcourt in 2005. He was an active member of ACC old boys association ( ACCIOBA) Port Harcourt branch and was at one time the branch Financial Secretary.
He was also a member of the Oil workers union and was later elected as Financial Secretary and Vice Chairman of the workers union at different times.
He grew through the ranks in Schlumberger after joining as a Maintenance Engineer. He held several positions including Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Supervisor, Lean Champion and was the Country Maintenance Manager before he was transferred to the US in 2011 as the Global InTouch Engineer for Drilling Motors. He held other positions including Project Manager and Customer Service Manager before leaving Schlumberger in 2020.
He completed his MBA in strategic management from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2020.
Recently he has worked in other industries including the Cold Supply Chain industry, Seal manufacturing and is presently working in the Chemical Industry for Westlake Corporation as the Customer Experience Manager. He is happily married to Onyinye and they are blessed with 4 children.
