Cyril graduated from Annunciation Catholic College, Irrua in 1984, and continued his academic journey at Ambrose Alli University, where he specialized in Microbiology. His early career in Nigeria was with notable organizations and NGOs, including Citizens Bank, later rebranded as Spring Bank.
Cyril later moved to Canada, where he has established himself in the settlement/immigrant serving sector. He currently works as a Community Services Supervisor with the Toronto District School Board where he engages with internationally trained immigrants who are new to Canada, providing them with much needed support and guidance as they navigate their integration into the Canadian community.
Cyril holds a Project Management certificate from the University of Toronto, and a Conflict Resolution/Peace Building certificate from St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Cyril is an active participant in the settlement services sector, and he is actively involved with the Greater Toronto Area’s Local Immigration Partnerships. His engagement underscores his passion for contributing to the successful integration of newcomers into Canadian society and his deep dedication to fostering inclusivity and harmonious relationships among diverse communities in Toronto.
Cyril is married with two children.
