Who We Are

ACCIOBA North America was established in February 2019. As the largest branch of the Annunciation Catholic College, Irrua Old Boys Association (ACCIOBA), our chapter spans a vast geographical area, nearly the size of Africa. Our territorial jurisdiction includes the United States of America, Canada, Mexico, and twenty other independent countries:

We are a diverse group of alumni who have come together to support our alma mater, Annunciation Catholic College, Irrua (ACC). Our members are a highly educated group of immigrants who live, work, and contribute significantly to the development of North American communities. We are united by our shared experiences at ACC and a common goal to give back to the institution that played a crucial role in shaping our lives.

Our Inception
Our chapter was formally inaugurated on September 28, 2019, in Largo, Maryland, USA, by Dr. Frank Odafen, the Worldwide President of ACCIOBA (2015–2019).
Our Membership
We currently have 120 active members who are dedicated to aligning our chapter’s goals with those of the global ACCIOBA body and its secretariat in Nigeria.
Our Vision
Our main goal is to rebuild Annunciation Catholic College, Irrua, into a center of excellence. We aim to align with global advancements in artificial intelligence, robotic sciences, and entrepreneurship.
Our Community
As highly educated immigrants contributing significantly to North American communities, we cherish the memories of our time at ACC. We are committed to garnering support from our friends, colleagues, and neighbors to back this noble project in Africa.
Our Dream
The new ACC will set a benchmark in Nigerian education, providing future students with the resources to compete globally.
